1. Who we are

NotiVault: Smart Notification History is an Android application developed by YunoK Tech. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when you use it. Questions? Reach us at yunoktech@gmail.com.
Package Name: com.yunoktech.notificationhistory

2. The Notification Listener permission

NotiVault's core function is to capture and store your notifications. To do this, it requires Android's Notification Listener Service permission — a special permission you must enable manually in Android Settings. This is not granted automatically.

With this permission active, the app can read the following from incoming notifications:

You stay in control. You can revoke the Notification Listener permission at any time by going to Android Settings → Apps → NotiVault → Notifications → Remove permission. All previously captured data remains on your device until you delete it.

3. How we use your data

Every piece of data NotiVault collects is used for one purpose only: showing you your notification history inside the app. Specifically, data is used to:

Your data is never used for advertising, behavioural profiling, analytics, or machine learning.

4. Where data is stored

All data is stored locally on your device in the app's private directory — inaccessible to other apps:

YunoK Tech has no access to any of this data. We do not run servers or cloud infrastructure for NotiVault.

5. Blocked apps

You can configure a list of apps whose notifications should not be captured. Notifications from blocked apps are ignored at capture time and never stored. You can manage the blocked list in Settings → Blocked apps.

6. Data retention and deletion

You choose how long notifications are kept. Available options are 7 days, 15 days, 30 days, 60 days, or forever. Notifications older than your selected period are automatically deleted by a background cleanup process.

You can also delete all captured data immediately at any time by going to Settings → Clear all data. Uninstalling the app also removes all associated data.

7. Third-party services

Google AdMob

NotiVault displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device information such as advertising identifiers to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we will request your consent before showing personalized ads in compliance with GDPR. If you are located in the United States, you may be presented with privacy options in accordance with applicable state laws. If you choose not to consent to personalized ads, you may still see non-personalized ads. For more information on how Google uses data, please visit: Google's Privacy Policy.

Privacy Rights (EEA & US Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This includes the right to give or withdraw consent for personalized advertising. If you are a resident of certain US states (such as California), you may have rights under applicable privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act - CCPA/CPRA). These rights may include:

NotiVault does not collect, store, or share personal data on its servers. All notification data is stored locally on your device and is not accessible to us. However, third-party services such as Google AdMob may collect limited device information (such as advertising identifiers) to provide ads. You can manage your privacy choices at any time through the consent form shown in the app or by adjusting your device settings.

URL preview fetching

When a notification message contains a URL, NotiVault may fetch Open Graph metadata (title, description, preview image) from that URL so it can display a preview card. Only the URL itself is sent in this request — no personal data, notification content, or device identifiers are included. This feature operates on your network connection and the data received is stored locally for display purposes only.

Firebase Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google, to understand how users interact with the app. Firebase Analytics may collect information such as device type, usage patterns, app interactions, and general diagnostics data. This information helps us improve app performance and user experience.

Firebase Crashlytics

We use Firebase Crashlytics to monitor app stability and fix crashes. Crashlytics may collect device information, app version, and crash logs to help identify and resolve issues. Crash reports do not include your personal notification content.

8. Permissions explained
